Podiatrist Nick Puli, B.POD
Nick is a Podiatrist from Melbourne who has specialized in the management of high risk diabetic feet currently working at two major tertiary public health services. In these roles he works closely with Orthopaedic surgeons, vascular surgeons and Endocrinologists in the management of diabetic feet. Nick has a special interest in the biomechanics of the diabetic foot and assessment and management of Charcot Feet, has presented at several Podiatry conferences in this field whilst he also currently sits on the Victorian Committee for Wounds Australia.

Presentation outline:
Utilization of in-shoe pressure mapping for the assessment and management of diabetic foot ulcers:
This will be an interactive presentation on the biomechanics of the diabetic foot and how pressure mapping can be used in clinic to maximize the management of diabetic foot ulcer patients. The presentation will feature case studies and discussion from practice from a Podiatrists perspective.

Pedorthist & PhD candidate Sayed Ahmed
Sayed Ahmed PhD candidate, CEO Foot Balance Technology & member of the NADC foot network working party responsible for NADC : HRFS standards. 

Presentation outline: 
Sayed will speak about extra depth footwear, footwear modifications and the current and emerging part they play
in the prevention of ulceration and re ulceration of the diabetic foot.


Pedorthist David Sutton
David Sutton CPedCM.Au, CEO of Bilby shoes David has many year experience in footwear and footwear manufacturing specializing in pressure mapping and off loading the diabetic at risk foot. 

Presentation outline:
David will speak about custom made footwear for who and when it should be applied and the process, this includes the use of TCO's guided by in shoe pressure mapping to ensure and evidenced based outcome.


Live interactive workshop for in-shoe pressure mapping.
Patrick Crowe, Tekscan USA & David Sutton will use the In-shoe pressure mapping system to demonstrate how quick & effective the data capture can be and how it can and will guide the clinician to create a better evidence based outcome. Demonstrating the collateral effect some off loading approaches may create.
